The process employed in the etching is similar to abrading a glass in order to produce a design. This way it can produce a design that is frosted like. At times, the etched design can somehow look like an airbrushed design that is done in a delicate manner. It may look subtle but the design is permanently carved on the surface of the glass. This method usually results to a design that is somehow coarse to see if not properly executed. This needs to be done in an accurate manner to give out explicit and artistic look of design as it is etched in the glass. One of the common problems brought by sand blasting is the peril that it gives to the person. The process usually gives out very fine sand that is dangerous when inhaled.
