The modern kitchen truly has a character. Cylindrical furniture having shapes of UFO reduces the risk of injury. It is also very ergonomic and interesting. But there is a new kitchen culture today which underlines functionality and architectural shapes by using horizontal lines.
Today it is fashionable to install kitchen without upper cabinets or with medium light boxes. Facades are opening with a simple touch and closing automatically. There is just a small hole instead of traditional knobs. In general, it is fashionable to combine contrasting surfaces, light weight and solidity.

The main trend in kitchen design is classic country style which has quiet comfort of countryside. Stained-glass windows, panels, soft tissue pockets and sleeves underline the decoration of such kitchen.
In small flats the equipment of a kitchen conducted in the way of using various transforming elements and methods of optimal use of space. Such things as folding table tops, extended working spaces under the windows, shelves across the window opening, storage spaces under the ceiling or over the dining table allow to equip a high functional kitchen even in a small space. You can even place a griddle in such kitchen.
All over the world the kitchen became a place for all family having fun. In recent years, many of us do not want or simply do not have time to cook every day, and often simply heat the ready-made food. Perhaps in the near future both drawing and the working surface may simply disappear, and the kitchen will be more and more resemble a living room.
The tendency of the desire for "clean lines" cut off all unnecessary: plates are arranged in one row, sinks, hobs and built-in appliances are hidden under a hinged lid. Even a TV is hidden in the wardrobe with sliding doors. Faucets are pullout and can be hidden in the walls. Though such kitchens are pretty small, they are quite comfortable. That is why more and more people design their kitchen according to modern kitchen design trends.
