glass blowing apprenticeship San Diego?

Hi! Ive taken glass blowing in the past and want to try and get into it again. Im looking for an apprenticeship in San Diego somewhere but im not sure where to look. I would like an apprenticeship making glass water pipes. anyone know who I could talk to about this or where to go? I eventually would like to work for some kind of water bong supplier.

1. Apprenticeship programs in general and specifically in glass almost never exist. People said to be working in glass studios are almost always working for free or minimal pay and griping about their low pay.
2. "bong supplier" is hardly an up and coming industry likely to offer growth and freedom from harassment.
3. The skill you took classes in was presumably torch working of glass, also called lampworking, and you might find some employment by exploring www.hotglass.com which covers the topics more genuine activities. Or you might look at scientific glassblowing www.asgs-glass.org/ of course, bong makers have made trying to be an independent true scientific glassblower (outside a company or university) subject to constant police inspection in some states.
